Resources
Krisineleos is proud to be part of a larger network of co-operative communities across Canada. While we can’t respond to individual housing inquiries, we’ve gathered some trusted resources to help you learn more about co-op living — what it means, how it works, and how to get involved.

About Co-op Housing
Housing co-operatives are member-run communities where residents share the responsibilities and decisions that keep their homes affordable and inclusive. Members don’t own their individual units — they collectively own and manage the property through democratic participation.
Each co-op operates a little differently, but all are guided by the same principles:
- Affordability: Housing charges are based on operating costs, not profit.
- Democracy: Each household has a voice and a vote.
- Community: Members contribute time, ideas, and care to keep the co-op strong.
